Roles & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable C++-based applications and services.
- Write clean, efficient,



and well-documented code following established coding standards and best practices.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and third-party services.
- Develop and optimize backend components, microservices, and data processing pipelines.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, code review, testing, deployment, and support
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues; perform root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, DevOps, Frontend) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write unit, integration, and automated tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Contribute to performance tuning, and optimization of existing systems.
- Participate in code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote engineering best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation for components, APIs, and deployment processes

Education

- 5-6 years of professional C++ experience.
- Strong proficiency in C++.
- Need to work from the office (no remote). Willingness to work UK/US shifts.

Preferred Skills

- Robust C++ proficiency, including OOP, collections, concurrency, multithreading, generics, streams, and lambdas.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and basic knowledge of NoSQL stores (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development; familiarity with JSON/XML.
- Familiarity with message brokers like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.
- Working knowledge of build tools (Maven, Gradle) and version control (Git).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
