Role: C# Developer – Localization Engineering (Windows Desktop Applications)

? About the Role

Join us in building a migration workflow for large-scale Windows desktop applications. You’ll work hands-on with localization/globalization across multiple resource file types, directly contributing to migration, testing, and delivery pipelines. If you love working close to the system level and have strong C# + Windows desktop experience, this role is for you.

? What You’ll Do

Implement and validate localization using resource files (.rc, .resx, XAML, XML).

Debug and compare localized builds in Visual Studio for stability and correctness.

Handle partial localization scenarios and runtime string issues.

Work with C++ DLLs as a consumer for localization and debugging.

Participate in a tight testing + defect-fixing loop: find → fix → validate → repeat.

Collaborate with localization, QA, and cross-functional teams.

? Must-Have Skills

2–4 years of Windows desktop application development.

Solid hands-on experience in C# and WPF (MVVM).





Experience with .rc and .resx resource files for localization/globalization.

Proficiency in Git and Visual Studio.

Ability to debug, trace, and fix issues independently.

? Good to Have

Exposure to MFC/Win32 (even if only debugged/read code).

Basic familiarity with C++ for DLL navigation.

Experience with XAML/XML-based localization.

Understanding of encoding, code pages, multi-language string handling.

? Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s in CS/Mechanical/Electrical (or equivalent hands-on experience).

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
