Role & responsibilities

- Handle end-to-end procurement activities for direct materials

- Identify and develop reliable suppliers/vendors for automotive components

- Having experience in commodities such as Casting & Machining

- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with suppliers

- Raise and manage Purchase Orders (POs) in SAP systems

- Ensure timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules

- Monitor supplier performance (quality, cost, delivery)

- Coordinate with internal teams (Production, Quality, Engineering, Stores)

- Conduct cost analysis and implement cost reduction initiatives

- Manage inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock

- Handle vendor audits and ensure compliance with company standards

- Resolve supply-related issues and escalations

- Having experience in global sourcing

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
