VENTTUP is an engineering-led Manufacturing as a Service company helping customers develop, localise and scale products through India’s manufacturing ecosystem.

We are looking for a Business Head to build our Smart Infrastructure & Future Mobility vertical from the ground up. The chance spans railway and metro systems, e-mobility, electrification and smart buildings. You will decide where to focus, develop customer relationships, build the right delivery partnerships and take ownership of the vertical’s revenue, profitability and P&L.;

This is a hands-on role in an ownership culture. You will have the freedom to shape the business and the accountability to deliver results.

What you will own

- Set the vertical’s strategy, annual business plan, target customers, pipeline, revenue goals and profitability.
- Develop opportunities in railway electrification, metro infrastructure, rail automation components and associated electrical systems.
- Build programs for mobility control panels, automation panels, cable assemblies, cable-management products, cabling works and integrated electrical subassemblies.
- Identify product-development and localisation opportunities in e-mobility, including charging infrastructure and supporting electrical and mechanical components.
- Develop business in smart buildings, including building management systems, security and access controls, HVAC controls and connected infrastructure.
- Engage with rail and metro stakeholders, OEMs, EPC companies,



system integrators, infrastructure developers and technology partners.
- Lead customer discovery, feasibility studies, design coordination, technical proposals, bids, sourcing and project execution.
- Identify imported components and systems that VENTTUP can develop or localise through its engineering and manufacturing partner network.
- Own pricing, contracts, project margins, delivery performance, collections and long-term customer satisfaction.
- Build the supplier network, technology partnerships and team required to scale the vertical.

What you bring

- Strong knowledge of at least one relevant market: railways, metros, e-mobility, electrical infrastructure, building automation or smart buildings.
- The ability to turn customer requirements into executable product or project opportunities.
- Experience with electrical systems, panels, cabling, controls, automation or infrastructure project delivery.
- Commercial judgment across business development, bidding, costing, negotiation and execution.
- A self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset and the willingness to solve problems directly, make decisions and take responsibility for outcomes.

You do not need experience in every segment listed. We value people who know how to build customer trust, bring together capable specialists and create a business from scratch.

Demonstrated ownership and results matter more than a fixed number of years of experience.
