About Nectar MCH

Nectar Mother and Child Hospital is a dedicated maternity, gynecology, and pediatric care hospital in South Bangalore, built around a doctor-led, patient-first model of care. As Nectar scales its patient volumes and referral network in one of Bangalore's most competitive maternity healthcare corridors, we're looking for a growth-focused Business Head to own the hospital's business development engine.

We're hiring a Business Head Growth & Business Development to build and run Nectar MCH's patient acquisition and referral engine. This is a growth mandate, not a general hospital operations role you'll own how Nectar wins patients, not how the hospital is staffed or run day to day.

You'll report to the COO/CEO and work closely with Nectar's medical leadership, including founder Dr. Manjulatha, to translate clinical excellence into consistent patient volume growth.

This role suits someone who has already built or managed a doctor referral network for a maternity/women's & children's hospital and wants to take on a larger, more senior charter including the opportunity to shape that function from a smaller, founder-led hospital rather than execute within an already-built chain.

- Doctor & specialist referral network build and manage relationships with gynecologists, pediatricians, fertility specialists, and general practitioners across South Bangalore to drive consistent patient referrals into Nectar.
- Referral program design structure and run ethical, compliant referral and empanelment programs (in line with PCPNDT/NMC/ASCI guidelines) that make Nectar the natural referral choice for OB-Gyn and pediatric cases.




- Corporate & insurance tie-ups establish and manage TPA/insurance empanelments and corporate wellness/maternity benefit partnerships that bring in sustained patient volume.
- Growth targets & reporting own patient volume and referral-sourced revenue targets; report growth performance and pipeline to the COO.
- Market & competitor intelligence track referral and pricing activity from competing maternity hospitals (Cloud Nine, Rainbow, Ankura, Apollo Cradle, Ovum, Motherhood India, KIMS Cuddles) and adjust Nectar's outreach and positioning accordingly.
- Cross-functional coordination work with hospital operations, medical staff, and marketing teams to ensure referred patients have a smooth, high-trust experience that reinforces referrer confidence.

What we're looking for
- 812 years of experience in business development / growth roles within hospitals, with maternity, women's & children's hospital experience strongly preferred you understand OB-Gyn and NICU referral dynamics, birthing volumes, and how doctor trust translates into patient flow.
- A proven, portable network of referring doctors and specialists in the Bangalore healthcare ecosystem.
- Experience managing insurance/TPA empanelments and corporate tie-ups in a hospital setting.
- Solid relationship-building and negotiation skills, with the judgment to run referral programs that stay within medical ethics and advertising compliance (PCPNDT/NMC/ASCI).
- Comfort operating with autonomy in a smaller, founder-led hospital, reporting into a COO/CEO rather than a large corporate hierarchy.
- Bachelor's degree required; a postgraduate qualification in healthcare/hospital management or business administration is a plus.
