Role Description This is a full time, on-site Business Development Specialist role based in Chennai.

The Business Development

Specialist will identify and qualify new business opportunities, focusing on target markets such as aerospace, medical, oil & gas, and energy. Daily responsibilities include conducting market research, generating leads, managing a sales pipeline, and building long-term relationships with prospects and existing customers. The role involves preparing proposals, coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams, and supporting contract negotiation to close deals.

The specialist will also track performance metrics,



provide regular business development reports, and represent the company at meetings, presentations, and relevant industry events.

Qualifications

- Strong Analytical Skills and Market Research capabilities to identify opportunities, analyze trends, and support data-driven decisions.
- Excellent Communication skills for engaging with clients, delivering presentations, and collaborating with internal teams.
- Lead Generation and Customer Service skills to build a quality pipeline, nurture relationships, and maintain high client satisfaction.
- Experience in business development or sales within engineering, manufacturing, or related technical industries is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet business targets in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentation development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Awareness of aerospace or high-precision manufacturing sectors will be an advantage.
