Job Summary

Mahabodhi Global Foundation is looking for an experienced Business Development Project Manager to lead business development, project opportunities and coordination for government and development-sector assignments.

The role will involve identifying and analysing new opportunities, coordinating with government and institutional stakeholders, developing proposals and presentations, supporting project implementation, and working with multidisciplinary teams across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in government and development-sector projects.
- Track and analyse RFPs, EOIs, tenders and project opportunities.
- Coordinate with government departments, PSUs, development organisations and institutional stakeholders.
- Lead preparation of technical proposals, presentations, concept notes and project strategies.
- Support business negotiations, client coordination and project mobilisation.
- Coordinate with internal technical, project, communication and operations teams.
- Support project planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
- Maintain proper records of opportunities, proposals, client communication and project documentation.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with government and institutional stakeholders.
- Support multidisciplinary projects and business development activities across India.
- Travel to different locations as required for business development, meetings and project assignments.

Required Qualifications & Experience




- Postgraduate qualification preferred; relevant professional qualifications will also be considered.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in business development, government consulting, project management, development-sector programmes or institutional assignments.
- Strong understanding of government projects, tenders, RFPs, EOIs and proposal development.
- Strong communication, coordination, analytical and presentation skills.
- Good technical and commercial proposal-writing ability.
- Ability to independently manage opportunities and coordinate multiple teams.
- Proficiency in English and Hindi; knowledge of regional languages will be an advantage.
- Willingness to travel across India as per project and organisational requirements.

Preferred Experience Experience with Central/State Government programmes, PSUs, development-sector organisations, consulting firms, PMU/PMC assignments, UNICEF/World Bank-supported projects or implementing agencies will be an advantage.
