About the roleSageties Marketing is hiring a Business Development Manager to own new client acquisition for our digital marketing and IT services offerings (Meta Ads, Google Ads, SEO, websites, CRM/automation). You'll be the first sales hire building a repeatable pipeline, not stepping into an existing playbook — so you'll help shape it as you go.

Key responsibilities

- Identify and prospect potential clients (real estate, retail, D2C, and other local businesses) through cold outreach, networking, referrals, and digital channels
- Pitch Sageties' service offerings, prepare proposals and quotations, and negotiate deal terms
- Own the full sales cycle end-to-end: lead generation → discovery call → proposal → negotiation → closing → handoff to the delivery team
- Build and maintain a CRM-tracked pipeline with accurate stage, value, and follow-up cadence
- Represent Sageties at local business networking events, exhibitions, and client meetings across Indore
- Gather market and competitor intelligence to refine pricing and positioning




- Work directly with the founder and marketing team to align sales promises with delivery capacity
- Hit monthly/quarterly new-business revenue targets

What we're looking for

- 2–4 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or agency/IT services sales (digital marketing or IT services background strongly preferred)
- Robust verbal and written communication in English and Hindi; confident in-person and phone pitching
- Proven ability to close deals independently, not just generate leads
- Comfortable with a startup pace: no fixed script, evolving pricing, and juggling prospecting, pitching, and account handoff in the same week
- Basic understanding of digital marketing terminology (Meta/Google Ads, SEO, leads vs. conversions) is a strong plus
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and resilient to rejection
- Based in or willing to relocate to Indore; own two-wheeler/vehicle preferred for client visits

- Fixed monthly salary + uncapped commission on closed business
