Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Development professional to drive business growth for our Power Generation and Transmission PMC/Consulting business. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new project opportunities, developing relationships with power-sector clients, managing tenders/EOIs and converting opportunities into PMC/consultancy assignments.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop current business opportunities in Power Generation and Transmission.

Develop and maintain relationships with GENCOs, TRANSCOs, DISCOMs, PSUs, IPPs, power developers, government departments and private utilities.

Identify upcoming projects requiring PMC, Owner's Engineer, Project Management Consultancy, Construction Management, Supervision and Technical Consultancy services.





Track government and private-sector power projects from concept/feasibility/tender stage through award.

Monitor and identify relevant RFPs, RFQs, EOIs and tenders.

Lead pre-bid activities, client discussions, proposal development and commercial submissions in coordination with technical teams.

Develop relationships with senior decision-makers and key project stakeholders.

Coordinate with technical teams for technical proposals, project credentials, manpower plans and methodologies.

Support commercial negotiations and closure of PMC/consultancy contracts.

Develop market intelligence covering generation, transmission, substations, grid strengthening and power evacuation projects.

Maintain a strong business pipeline and achieve business-development and revenue targets.
