Business Development Manager - IT Services

GLV Infotech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is hiring a hands-on Business Development Manager to build new business for our IT-services company.

About the Role

The initial priority is personal selling and closing IT-service projects, not managing an existing sales team. The founder will support technical discussions and delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and approach suitable businesses and agency partners.
- Generate qualified leads through direct outreach, calls, email, LinkedIn, referrals and networking.
- Conduct discovery calls and understand client requirements.
- Present relevant GLV IT services and coordinate proposals.
- Follow up consistently, handle objections and negotiate within approved commercial limits.
- Work toward confirmed orders and agreed advance payments.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline, proposals and follow-ups.
- Coordinate with the founder regarding technical scope, pricing, discounts and delivery commitments.
- After establishing a successful sales process, help build and train a small sales team when approved.

Required Qualifications:




- 3+ years of relevant B2B business development or sales experience in IT services.
- Proven experience personally sourcing and closing paid IT-service projects.
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Comfortable with prospecting, discovery calls, proposals, negotiation and follow-up.
- Experience selling websites, e-commerce, digital marketing, CRM/custom software or related IT services.
- Direct client acquisition experience is required. Upwork/Freelancer bidding alone is not sufficient.

Compensation:

Fixed gross salary: INR 50,000 - 60,000 per month, depending on relevant experience and demonstrated capability, plus performance incentives under written company terms.
