Role & responsibilities

- Drive strategic business growth initiatives across defense markets.

- Identify opportunities for new products, technology solutions and system upgrades based on emerging defense requirements.

- Develop a robust understanding of infantry and armored warfare requirements, platforms and technologies.

- Lead the qualification of defense opportunities based on strategic fit, technical feasibility and commercial viability.

- Track opportunities from early-stage customer engagement through RFQ/RFP, bid submission, negotiations and contract closures.

- Support bid strategy development, pricing discussions, clarification responses and post-bid negotiations.

- Drive timely closure of opportunities while maintaining commercial discipline.

- Develop outstanding customer relationships and partnerships to create sustainable business opportunities.





- Monitor defense procurement programmes, modernization initiatives, government policies and emerging technology trends.

- Develop actionable market intelligence to support product strategy, pricing and business development decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in Defense Business Development, Government business or Techno-Commercial roles

- Engineering Graduate

- MBA / PGDM from a reputed institute preferred

- Strong exposure to working with Indian Army, MoD, DPSUs, DRDO, MHA, government agencies, defense OEMs or system integrators.

- Demonstrated experience in managing complex defense sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract closure.
