BUSINESS HEAD – EDUCATION INSTITUTION
Position: Business Head

1. Job Purpose
The Business Head will be responsible for driving the overall business growth of the educational institution, including admissions, revenue generation, marketing, student acquisition, partnerships, and operational efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies, achieving admission and revenue targets, leading teams, and ensuring effective coordination between academic, administrative, marketing, finance, and admissions departments.
1. Key Responsibilities
A. Business Strategy & Growth Develop and execute annual business and growth strategies.
Set admission, revenue, and business development targets.
Identify new markets, programs, locations, and business opportunities.
Analyze market trends, student demand, and competitor activities.
Develop strategies for increasing the institution's student base and revenue.
Support Management in expansion plans and new initiatives.
B. Admissions & Enrollment
Take overall responsibility for achieving admission targets.
Develop strategies for lead generation and enquiry conversion.
Monitor the complete admission process from enquiry to enrollment.
Track daily and monthly admission performance.
Improve enquiry-to-admission conversion through effective follow-up systems.
Coordinate with the Admissions Team to ensure timely student and parent communication.
Develop student retention and continuation strategies.
C. Marketing & Brand Development
Plan and execute marketing strategies for schools, PU colleges, colleges, coaching programs, and other educational offerings.
Coordinate with the Marketing and Digital Marketing teams.
Plan school visits, seminars, career guidance programs, parent meetings, events, and promotional campaigns.
Evaluate marketing campaigns based on leads, conversions, and revenue generated.
Strengthen the institution's brand visibility and market presence.
Identify suitable digital and offline marketing channels.
D. Revenue & Financial Management
Drive revenue generation in line with Management-approved targets.
Monitor fee collection and outstanding fees in coordination with Finance.
Track admission revenue, collection status, and business performance.
Identify opportunities for increasing revenue and controlling unnecessary business expenses.
Prepare monthly revenue and performance reports.
Ensure that business activities are aligned with approved budgets and financial policies.
E. Team Leadership & Performance
Lead the Admissions, Business Development, Marketing, and related teams.
Set clear targets and responsibilities for team members.
Monitor individual and team performance.
Conduct regular review meetings.
Motivate the team to achieve business and admission targets.
Identify skill gaps and arrange appropriate training.
Maintain accountability and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
F. Partnerships & Institutional Tie-Ups
Develop relationships with schools, colleges, educational organizations, corporates, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.
Explore opportunities for institutional collaborations and partnerships.
Negotiate and coordinate business tie-ups in consultation with Management.
Develop long-term relationships with key partners.
Represent the institution in external meetings and business discussions.
G. Operations & Cross-Department Coordination
Coordinate with Principal, Academic, Administration, Finance, HR, Admissions, Marketing, and Operations teams.
Identify operational issues that affect admissions, revenue, or student experience.
Ensure smooth coordination during admission seasons and academic-year activities.
Support Management in implementing policies and operational improvements.
Ensure business commitments are aligned with institutional capabilities.
H. Data, MIS & Reporting
Maintain and review admission and business MIS reports.

Present regular business reports to Management.
Use data and performance reports to identify gaps and implement corrective measures.

1. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Administration, Education Management, or a related field. MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Business Management, or related specialization is preferred.
5–10+ years of experience in business development, sales, admissions, marketing, or education management.
Experience in the education sector will be highly preferred.

1. Role Expectations

Strengthen the institution's market presence.
Improve conversion and retention.

Identify business risks and opportunities.
Provide regular performance insights and recommendations to Management.
Ensure professional and ethical business practices across all activities.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
