CiteWorks Studio helps brands improve their visibility across traditional search engines and AI platforms through strategic content, digital authority-building and multichannel execution.

We are looking for a Business Development Intern who is interested in sales, market research, data mining and client acquisition. This is a practical internship where you will work closely with our Business Development team and gain hands-on experience in prospect research, lead generation, email outreach and sales tracking.

? Role Objective

As a Business Development Intern, you will support the Business Development team in identifying potential clients, researching target markets, building prospect databases and assisting with lead generation and outreach activities.

? Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Business Development team in identifying potential clients and business opportunities.
- Conduct data mining through online research, business directories, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms.
- Build, maintain and update prospect databases with accurate company and contact information.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities and potential growth opportunities.
- Prepare lead lists, sales reports and business development trackers.
- Assist in email outreach campaigns and follow-up activities with prospective clients.
- Verify and validate collected data to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth lead handover and tracking.
- Maintain records of daily activities, leads generated and business development progress.
- Complete assigned tasks and projects within defined timelines.
- Maintain confidentiality of company information, client data and business strategies.
- Follow company policies, skilled standards and ethical business practices.
- Participate in team meetings,



training sessions and performance reviews as required.

? Candidates do not need to be experts in every area. Strong research ability, attention to detail, communication skills and willingness to learn are more important. ⭐ Preferred Skills

- Academic, personal or internship experience in Sales, Marketing or Business Development
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and online business directories
- Basic knowledge of CRM systems
- Good understanding of Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong internet research skills
- Good written and verbal communication
- Ability to organize and maintain large amounts of data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Interest in learning sales and client acquisition strategies.
