About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Business Development Executive to support student admissions and contribute to the growth of the institution. The role involves connecting with prospective students and parents, understanding their educational and career requirements, providing information about suitable courses, and converting qualified leads into enrollments.

The candidate will also be responsible for generating new leads through references, follow-ups, outreach, and other suitable channels.

Responsibilities

- Handle and respond to assigned and inbound student/parent enquiries
- Connect with prospective students and parents through phone calls and other communication channels
- Understand students' educational goals, career interests, and course requirements
- Provide clear and accurate information about available courses, eligibility, duration, fees, and other relevant details
- Identify and nurture potential student leads
- Conduct regular and timely follow-ups with students and parents
- Build positive relationships with prospective students and parents
- Support student lead generation through references, outreach, and follow-up activities




- Encourage prospective students to take the next step in the admission process
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and enquiry status in Excel
- Coordinate with the academic/admission team regarding student enquiries when required
- Work towards achieving monthly admission and conversion targets

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Any Degree
- 0.6–2 years of experience in Business Development, Telecalling, Academic Counselling, Sales, or Admissions is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in English & Malayalam
- Good interpersonal and convincing skills
- Ability to communicate comfortably with students and parents
- Basic proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word
- Ability to understand and qualify student requirements
- Good follow-up and relationship-building skills
- Positive attitude with a goal-oriented approach
