- Identify the therapeutic segments and products the customer is interested in.
- Understand the territory for which the customer is seeking business.

- Maintain regular professional contact with existing customers.
- Follow up regarding repeat requirements and upcoming orders.
- Understand which products are performing well for individual customers.
- Identify opportunities for relevant portfolio expansion.

- Track not only total sales but also lead conversion and repeat business.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline for future months.
- Identify reasons for low conversion and discuss corrective actions with the reporting manager.
- Focus on quality business and customer retention, not merely call volume.

Expected Sales Process The BDE should generally move a prospect through: Lead Received Initial Contact Requirement Identification Product/Territory Discussion Product Selection Quotation Follow-Up Objection Resolution Documentation Order Confirmation Billing/Dispatch Coordination After-Sales Follow-Up Repeat Business A lead should not remain indefinitely at the same stage without a recorded reason or next action.

Professional Standards The BDE represents Chemo Biological during every customer interaction. Communication should therefore be confident, respectful, accurate and professional.

The executive should never provide false information, guarantee sales/profits to a franchise partner, make unauthorized discounts, promise monopoly rights without approval, provide misleading product claims, or criticize competitors simply to secure an order.
