Roles and Responsibilities

We are looking for a results-driven Business Development Executive / Manager to drive business growth in international freight forwarding.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and acquire recent customers in freight forwarding and logistics.
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and other sales channels.
- Promote air freight, ocean freight (FCL/LCL), and value-added logistics services.
- Prepare and negotiate quotations, pricing, and service contracts.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Understand customer logistics requirements and provide suitable solutions.
- Coordinate with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Monitor market trends, trade lanes, freight rates, and competitor activities.
- Identify new business opportunities, industries, and customer segments.
- Maintain CRM records and prepare regular sales reports and forecasts.

Required Skills:





- Strong knowledge of air and ocean freight.
- Understanding of Incoterms, trade lanes, and freight pricing.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer relationship and business development skills.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events.

Experience:

- Business Development Executive: 24 years of experience in freight forwarding/logistics.
- Business Development Manager: 5–8+ years of experience in freight forwarding.
- Existing customer base or industry network will be an advantage.
