Role Overview

- Boston Institute of Analytics is looking for a Business Development Executive / Academic Coordinator to join the team at our Thane location and support the admissions and academic counselling process.
- The role involves engaging with prospective students, supporting academic counsellors, coordinating counselling sessions, managing student inquiries, maintaining accurate CRM records, and assisting with various pre-admissions activities.
- The candidate will play an important role in ensuring that prospective students receive timely information and a smooth experience throughout the initial stages of their admissions journey.
- This position requires strong communication, coordination, interpersonal, and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple student inquiries and activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Admissions Support

· Assist academic counsellors in managing prospective student inquiries and supporting the initial stages of the admissions process.

· Respond to initial student inquiries and provide relevant preliminary information about BIA's programs.

· Schedule counselling appointments and coordinate with prospective students regarding their counseling sessions.

· Ensure that relevant information is communicated to prospective students in a timely and organized manner.

· Support the admissions team with activities related to the pre-admissions process.

2. Student Engagement

· Interact with prospective students and understand their queries related to available programs.





· Provide information and guidance regarding course options, prerequisites, and the application process.

· Maintain regular communication with prospective students and ensure their queries are addressed appropriately.

· Support students by providing relevant information during the early stages of their admissions journey.

3. Academic Counselor Coordination

· Work closely with academic counselors to coordinate counseling sessions for prospective students.

· Assist counselors by organizing relevant student information and materials required for counseling sessions.

· Ensure that counselors have the necessary information about prospective students before scheduled interactions.

· Coordinate with the counseling team to ensure smooth communication and follow-up with prospective students.

4. CRM & Data Management

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective student inquiries in the CRM system.

· Record relevant student interactions, follow-ups, and communication details.

· Ensure that student information is properly maintained and organized for easy reference.

· Support the admissions team in maintaining accurate lead and inquiry records.

5. Student Follow-Ups

· Conduct structured and timely follow-ups with prospective students.

· Respond to student inquiries and ensure that relevant information is shared within appropriate timelines.

· Maintain records of follow-up activities and student interactions in the CRM.

· Coordinate with academic counselors whenever additional information or support is required during the follow-up process.

6. Information Sessions & Virtual Meetings

· Assist in organizing webinars, information sessions, and Q&A; sessions for prospective students.

· Support the coordination of virtual meetings and student interactions.

· Help ensure that prospective students receive the necessary information and support during these sessions.





· Coordinate with the relevant team members to support the smooth execution of online student engagement activities.

7. Market & Student Insights

· Collect feedback and insights from prospective students during their interactions with the admissions team.

· Identify and document common queries, concerns, and feedback received from prospective students.

· Share relevant feedback and observations with the admissions team.

· Support the team in using these insights to improve student engagement and communication strategies.

8. Reporting & Admissions Support

· Assist in preparing reports related to student inquiries, follow-up activities, and admissions metrics.

· Maintain relevant records and information required for admissions reporting.

· Support the admissions team in tracking student interactions and inquiry-related activities.

· Provide accurate information and updates to support the team's admissions-related reporting

Qualifications & Skills

· Bachelor's degree in Education, Business Administration, or a related field.

· Minimum 1 year of experience in admissions support, academic coordination, business development, or counseling roles.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

· Familiarity with CRM systems or lead management tools is preferred.

· Robust verbal and written communication skills.

· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to coordinate effectively with students, academic counselors, and internal teams.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks, inquiries, and activities in a fast-paced environment.

· Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and follow-ups.
