Role & responsibilities
- Tender Identification &
- Tracking:
Monitor government procurement portals and private networks daily to identify new surveying, GIS mapping, LiDAR, and drone-based project opportunities.
- End-to-End RFP Management: Lead the preparation, structuring, and timely submission of technical and financial bids for Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Expressions of Interest (EOIs), and pre-qualification documents.
- Technical &
- Commercial Scoping:
Review complex tender documents to extract key requirements (e.g., accuracy tolerances, survey scales, area sizes, and delivery timelines) and coordinate with internal GIS analysts and survey managers to design competitive methodologies.
- Costing &
- Financial Bidding:
Collaborate with project managers to calculate field deployment expenses (crews, equipment rental, processing hours) and develop highly precise commercial pricing strategies that protect profit margins.
- Lead Generation &
- Client Acquisition:
Proactively pitch geospatial consulting solutions to private and public enterprise clients in sectors like infrastructure development, mining, solar/wind energy, and civil engineering.
- Vendor Registration &
- Compliance:
Secure and maintain active vendor registrations with government bodies, Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), and Tier-1 infrastructure developers.
Preferred candidate profile
- Educational Background: Minimum Graduation in any stream. Candidates with a background in B.Tech / B.E. (Civil, Geoinformatics, or related disciplines) will be highly preferred, though it is not a mandatory requirement
- Professional Experience:
2 to 5 years of proven experience handling b2b business development and government tendering specifically within the geospatial, surveying, drone mapping, or civil infrastructure sectors.
- Domain Expertise: Strong working knowledge of surveying technologies (e.g., LiDAR, DGPS, Photogrammetry, Hydrographic surveys) and public procurement guidelines.
- Skills &
- Tools:
Exceptional written English and professional communication skills for drafting technical methodologies. Proficiency with IREPS, GeM, and other e-procurement portals, alongside a strong command of MS Office (Excel &
- Word).
- Behavioral Traits: High attention to detail (to avoid tender disqualification due to administrative errors), strong negotiation skills, and the resilience needed to manage tight, high-pressure submission deadlines.
