ABOUT THE ROLE

We are building a next-generation enterprise SaaS platform designed to streamline complex operational workflows across HR, labor management, payroll, revenue management, purchasing, and accounting. We are looking for a Business Analyst who can sit at the intersection of product strategy and engineering execution — someone who turns business intent into sprint-ready work that a development team can build without ambiguity.

This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role. You will work directly with the Product Owner and Technical Lead, own the product backlog, and be the daily bridge between business stakeholders and the engineering team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Requirements & Backlog

- Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand business needs, define requirements, and translate them into actionable backlog items
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog — always keep N+3 sprints of refined, ready items ahead of the development team so sprints never start cold
- Prepare additional backlog items proactively based on business needs, dependencies, gaps, and upcoming functionality

User Stories & Acceptance Criteria

- Break down high-level requirements and epics into precise, buildable user stories
- Write clear acceptance criteria — your stories are the contract between product and engineering, and developers ship without re-clarification
- Identify dependencies, edge cases, and integration points before stories reach sprint planning

Agile Ceremonies

- Conduct backlog refinement sessions with Product Owners, developers, and QA teams
- Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Facilitate productive, time-boxed refinement sessions — you keep the conversation focused and the output actionable

Process Analysis





- Analyse existing business workflows and identify opportunities to eliminate manual work, reduce errors, and improve efficiency through the platform
- Document current-state and future-state process flows to guide development priorities

Quality & Validation

- Support and validate UAT — you own confirming that what was built matches what was asked for
- Collaborate with QA to ensure test cases align with acceptance criteria
- Participate in defect triage and help distinguish product gaps from scope creep

WHAT YOU MUST BRING

- 4–8 years as a Business Analyst on software product delivery — not consulting or documentation only, but actual end-to-end sprint delivery
- Proven experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria that development teams ship without constant clarification
- Comfort in Agile/Scrum environments — you know the difference between a story, an epic, and a spike, and you can run a refinement session
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence; familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Strong communication skills — you translate between non-technical stakeholders and engineers fluently, in both directions
- Ability to manage competing priorities and keep multiple sprint queues healthy simultaneously

WHAT WILL SET YOU APART

- Experience on multi-tenant SaaS platforms — you understand how shared infrastructure affects product decisions
- Prior work on ERP, HRMS, payroll, or financial software
- Familiarity with Figma — you can review UI designs for completeness before development begins
- Experience working with offshore or distributed development teams
- Exposure to API-driven integrations and an understanding of how third-party systems connect

Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
