Role Description:

Hare & Turtle AI Solutions (HNT) is looking for a Business Analyst with strong Insurance domain experience, specifically in Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding business needs, gathering and analyzing requirements, and translating them into clear functional requirements for technology teams. The candidate should have a strong understanding of P&C; insurance processes and experience working with business stakeholders, product teams, development teams, and QA teams in an Agile environment.

Job Location: Pune, India.

Experience: 3 Years to 5 Years

Role & Responsibilities:

- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Develop and maintain BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Work closely with business, product, development, QA, and other cross-functional teams.
- Analyze and document Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance business processes and workflows.
- Understand business requirements related to policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, endorsements, renewals, and policy servicing.
- Identify business process gaps and recommend opportunities for process improvement.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable functional specifications for technical teams.




- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to clarify requirements and resolve functional queries.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by preparing scenarios, validating functionality, and coordinating with business users.
- Identify requirements-related risks, dependencies, gaps, and potential business impacts.
- Maintain requirement traceability and ensure documentation remains accurate and up to date.

Skills & Qualifications:

- 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst with experience in the Insurance domain.
- Strong hands-on experience in Property & Casualty (P&C;) Insurance.
- Good understanding of P&C; insurance products, processes, and workflows.
- Knowledge of underwriting, policy administration, claims, billing, endorsements, renewals, and policy servicing.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
- Hands-on experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC methodologies.
- Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar business analysis tools.
- Solid analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of APIs, system integrations, and technical workflows is an added advantage.

Preferred Experience:

- Experience working on P&C; insurance platforms or applications.
- Exposure to commercial or personal lines insurance.
- Experience with policy administration, claims management, underwriting, or billing systems.
- Experience working with insurance technology platforms or InsurTech solutions.
- Experience in a client-facing or stakeholder-facing Business Analyst role.

Pay: ₹450,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year Work Location: On the road
