Purpose Of The Position The Lead –
- Enterprise IT Business Relationship &
- Delivery acts as the IT partner for assigned business functions and initiatives, from demand intake and solutioning through delivery, go-live, stabilization and business value realization. The role works with business, internal IT, Group/local architecture teams and vendors to convert business priorities into practical technology initiatives and drives internal IT, Group teams and external vendors to ensure committed delivery outcomes and vendor obligations are met. After implementation and hyper care, the role ensures structured handover to the AMS team, owns IT assessment and governance of new change requests for assigned applications, and reviews support-ticket trends with AMS to reduce repeat issues and improve service quality.
Authority
- Accept, return or challenge business demand based on completeness, ownership, expected outcome and readiness for IT assessment.
- Recommend prioritization of initiatives based on business value, risk, urgency, dependencies and available capacity.
- Require explicit delivery plans, accountable owners and committed milestones from internal teams and external vendors.
- Escalate material delivery, architecture, vendor, cost, quality and service risks to the appropriate governance forum.
- Recommend go-live hold where critical defects, architecture, security, support or operational-readiness requirements are incomplete.
- Require corrective-action plans for repeated vendor or service-performance failures.
- Recommend Change Request disposition based on business value, delivery impact, architecture and commercial implications.
- Recommend vendor performance / commercial actions to Head –
- Enterprise IT and relevant governance.

Business Partnership &
- Demand Management
- Act as primary IT relationship owner for assigned business functions and maintain a clear understanding of strategy, KPIs, priorities and pain points.
- Own structured demand intake and ensure each initiative has a named business owner, clear outcome, priority and value proposition.
- Translate business requirements into structured IT work packages and coordinate feasibility with relevant IT teams.
- Maintain a transparent demand backlog and 12–24 month business-IT roadmap.
End-to-End Delivery Accountability
- Own overall IT delivery outcome from approved demand through implementation, go-live and stabilization.
- Maintain integrated delivery plans covering scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, decisions and readiness.
- Coordinate business, internal IT teams, Group teams and external partners to ensure timely execution.
- Ensure critical dependencies, issues and decisions have clear owners and committed closure dates.
- Drive design, build, integration, testing, UAT readiness, cutover and stabilization governance.
- Ensure IT change management, implementation, security and governance controls are defined, validated and complied with for all assigned projects.
- Escalate risks early with clear business impact, options and decisions required.
Vendor &
- Group / Local Architecture Governance
- Govern external vendors against agreed scope, milestones, quality, support commitments and contractual obligations.
- Drive vendor corrective actions for delays, defects, recurring issues or delivery gaps.
- Coordinate with Group and local architecture / application teams to ensure solution alignment and timely technical decisions.
- Ensure solution design, integration and platform choices conform to approved architecture, security and governance standards.
- Track vendor and Group dependencies through closure and recommend escalation or commercial action where required.
Service, Support &
- Sustenance Ownership
- Ensure projects transition into a stable and sustainable support model with clear service/application ownership.
- Ensure L1/L2/L3 responsibilities, SLA/OLA, support contracts, monitoring, SOPs, knowledge transfer and lifecycle ownership are established.
- Review service performance, major incidents, recurring defects, backlog and vendor support performance for assigned applications.
- Drive Problem Management and continual improvement for recurring business-impacting issues.
- Ensure post-go-live stabilization is completed before formal project closure.
Business Readiness, Adoption &
- CSAT
- Ensure business readiness, UAT ownership, training/adoption needs and go-live acceptance criteria are established.
- Measure project and service satisfaction and drive corrective actions for material gaps.
- Monitor solution adoption and identify barriers affecting business outcomes.
- Conduct structured post-go-live reviews with business and delivery stakeholders.
Value Realization &
- Portfolio Governance
- Develop business cases jointly with business owners and define measurable expected benefits before investment.
- Establish baseline, target value, benefit owner and realization timeline for strategic initiatives.
- Track value realization after implementation and escalate gaps in adoption or benefit achievement.
- Support portfolio prioritization based on strategic fit, business value, risk and delivery capacity.
Financial &
- Commercial Governance
- Support IT budget and investment planning for assigned business initiatives.
- Track project budget, committed spend, forecast and Change Request impact.
- Validate vendor estimates and commercial assumptions in coordination with IT Governance / Procurement.
- Ensure ongoing run-cost and support-cost implications are visible before go-live.
