BSS Operation Provisioning Lead

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Support day to day operational, reporting, monitoring and relevant technical requirements and service them with best possible solutions in consultation with product engineering team.

2. Leading on handling operational issue promptly and involve Engineering team and vendors as and when needed.

3. Responsible to handle Order to Activation flow and monitor system proactively.

4. Hands-on experience in BSS Operation and designing roles and having understanding for BSS components like CRM, Mediation, OCS, Rating, Collection, Orchestration, Provisioning/Activation for mobile Post-paid and prepaid services etc.

5. Strong understanding of E2E journey Process across Fulfilment, Assurance, Inventory management Product catalogue.

6. Should understand 4G/5G Core network elements and its integration with BSS components.

7. Understanding for BSS cloud-based architecture is must.

8. Hands-on experience in LTE/5G technology, protocols HTTPS/Diameter/TCP, PCAP traces etc.

9. Gathers and documents the outcome of test executions and all information needed to support ongoing measurements and reporting on risks, defects, tests, and coverage.

10. Coordinates with Development and Infra teams on the resolution of issues, overseeing the testing progress and ensuring that high standards of quality are being met.

11. Compares and analyses system behaviour vs. expected results/KPIs based on business and technical requirements.

12. Identifies issues, proposes system improvements, and performs repetitive test execution to resolve identified issues.

Participates in and contributes to internal design reviews of testing materials.

Skills and Experience

1. The person should have in-depth knowledge across BSS/OSS systems from lead generation to order creation, order orchestration,SOM, product catalogue, inventory management, order fulfilment, SIM management,Entitlement server(ES) OTA, DMC, USSD G/w, activation and Charging, Mediation, mobile number portability, and also knowledge on network elements like HLR, HSS, UDR , SMSC, Entitlement Server , SMDP+.

2. Experience in Mavenir product like PGW, CCS, CHF, HLR, HSS, UDR would be added advantage.

3. Experience in Nokia Flowone would be added advantage.

4. The person should have knowledge of System integration lifecycle for a full stack BSS/OSS implementation and having experience of delivering minimum two BSS transformation project for Global telecom operators providing GSM/CDMA, 4G/5G, Broadband services.

5. Excellent knowledge of SQL queries and Linux is a must.

6. Excellent knowledge of 3GPP IETF charging principles for online/offline charging

7. Strong understanding of E2E journey Process across Fulfilment, Assurance, Inventory management Product catalogue.

8.



Knowledge on provisioning/onboarding use cases for LTE/5G data usage, Calling, eSIM/pSIM, FWA devices, Mobility devices, MNP, Multi sim provisioning and activation, esim transfer.

9. Troubleshooting experience for different network related integrations over Telecom domain like Load Balancer, Firewall, etc.

10. Hands on test experience of Billing, Charging, Order Orchestration Catalogue.

11. Hands-on experience in Linux, SOAP, DB, API testing.

12. Experienced in CRM, Mediation, Charging, Billing, Mediation, Unix, SQL, SOAP UI, Agile, JIRA, Postman, Wireshark

13. Most of the experience should be in telecom domain/projects.

14. Basic knowledge of XMLS/web services using soap UI is an added advantage .

15. Basic knowledge/experience of working in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

16. Strategic Thinking Skills, Analytical Skills, Well-developed Communication Skills

17. Strong Team collaborations needed.

Valuable to have skills:

1. Knowledge on RADCOM, JMS, Kafka, other integration technologies

2. Knowledge on Database technologies like MySQL, Mongo, PostgreSQL,

3. Knowledge on Cloud native architecture and concepts - Docker, Containerization and have done cloud native solution deployment

4. AI basic understanding of AI Agent, LLM etc.
