Role Description The Branch Manager role at Tyger Capital is a full-time, on-site position based in Chittoor.

The Branch

Manager is responsible for overseeing day-to-day branch operations, including loan processing, customer service, cash management, and regulatory compliance. This role involves leading and mentoring branch staff, setting performance targets, monitoring portfolio quality, and ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations.

The role also includes analyzing financial data, preparing reports for senior management, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.





Qualifications

- Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience supervising teams, setting goals, and conducting performance reviews.
- Proficiency in branch operations, including loan processing, risk assessment, cash handling, and compliance with NBFC regulations.
- Excellent customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage local businesses and entrepreneurial clients.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities to review financial data, monitor portfolio performance, and implement corrective actions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and stakeholder coordination.
- Comfort with using financial software, productivity tools, and basic data reporting systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an advanced degree or relevant certifications in banking/finance are an advantage.
- Prior experience in branch management or a similar role within a financial services, NBFC, or banking environment is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated integrity, accountability, and commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical lending practices.
- Ability to work on-site in Chittoor, with flexibility to engage in local outreach and occasional extended hours based on business needs.
