We are looking for a skilled Braider / Braiding Machine Operator to support the manufacturing of high-reliabilitywire harnesses and cable assemblies for Aerospace and Defence applications. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience operating braiding machines and working with different braiding materials and assembled harness configurations.

Key Responsibilities

 Braiding Operations: Operate 16, 24, 36, and 48-carrier braiding machines for wire harness and cable assembly applications.

 Machine Setup: Perform machine setup, bobbin/carrier loading, tension adjustment, braid coverage setting,and changeovers as per production requirements.

 Harness Braiding: Carry out braiding of assembled wire harnesses, including harnesses with connectors and multiple branches.

 Material Handling: Work with tinned-copper, Aramid, Nomex, and other specified braiding materials as per product requirements.

 Machine Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve machine-related issues during production and carry out basic machine maintenance to ensure consistent output.

 Quality & Production: Monitor braid quality, dimensions, coverage, and workmanship while maintaining production records and following defined quality and safety standards.

Mandatory Requirements

 Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in wire harness or cable braiding, preferably in Aerospace or Defence.





 Experience operating 16 / 24 / 36 / 48-carrier braiding machines.

 Hands-on experience with tinned-copper and/or Aramid/Nomex braiding.

 Experience in braiding assembled wire harnesses, including connectors and multiple branches.

 Knowledge of machine setup, bobbin/carrier loading, tension, braid coverage, and changeover.

 Ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance of braiding machines.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior experience in Aerospace, Defence, cable assembly, or wire harness for 2 yrs to 5 yrs in manufacturing environments will be preferred. Candidates with exposure to high-reliability manufacturing processes and stringent quality standards will be preferred. Experience working with complex wire harnesses,cable assemblies, and specialized braiding requirements will be considered an advantage.

Ideal Candidate Profile (ICP)

 Hands-on braiding professional with strong machine operating and setup experience, capable of working with different carrier configurations, materials, and complex harness assemblies.

 Quality-focused and detail-oriented, with the ability to troubleshoot machines, maintain production standards, and work independently in a high-reliability manufacturing workplace.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
