We are hiring an experienced Boring Machine Operator to operate and set up boring machines for machining heavy and precision engineering components. The candidate should have positive knowledge of engineering drawings, machining operations, tools, and measuring instruments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and set up Boring Machine / Horizontal Boring Machine (HMB/HBM).
- Read and understand engineering drawings and machining dimensions.
- Perform boring, drilling, facing, reaming, tapping and related machining operations.
- Set cutting tools, fixtures, workpieces and machine parameters.
- Ensure required dimensions, tolerances and surface finish.
- Inspect machined components using Vernier, Micrometer, Bore Gauge, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
- Handle heavy components and follow proper machine-loading and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to achieve production targets.
