Key Responsibilities  Prepare detailed BOQs for commercial interiors, office fit-outs, residential interiors, and custom furniture works.  Prepare item-wise quantities based on architectural, interior, furniture, MEP and other relevant drawings and specifications.  Read and interpret 2D drawings, layouts, elevations, sections, details, furniture drawings, and design documentation.  Prepare quantity take-offs for civil, interior finishes, partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, hardware, electrical-related scope, and furniture items as applicable.  Develop detailed furniture BOQs covering materials, dimensions, hardware, finishes, accessories, and construction details.  Coordinate with designers and project teams to clarify scope, specifications, drawing revisions, and missing information before finalising quantities.  Cross-check BOQs against approved drawings, scope of work, design proposals, and project requirements.  Identify quantity discrepancies, omissions, duplication, and scope gaps and highlight them to the concerned team.  Support rate analysis, costing, and comparison of vendor quotations wherever required.  Prepare BOQ revisions based on design changes, client comments, approved variations, and site requirements.  Maintain proper revision control and ensure the latest approved drawings and specifications are used for BOQ preparation.  Coordinate with Purchase and Project teams to ensure BOQ quantities and specifications are suitable for procurement and execution.



 Support preparation of material indents and procurement-related documentation based on approved BOQs.  Maintain project-wise BOQ trackers and provide timely updates on BOQ status.

Required Skills &

Competencies  Strong understanding of interior fit-out and furniture terminology, materials, finishes, and construction methods.  Good knowledge of furniture construction, materials such as plywood, MDF, veneer, laminate, solid surface, glass, metal, and related hardware.  Ability to accurately read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and interior design documentation.  Strong numerical ability with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.  Valuable command of MS Excel for quantity calculations, BOQ preparation, costing, and trackers.  Ability to identify discrepancies between drawings, BOQs, specifications, and site requirements.  Strong coordination and communication skills with Design, Purchase, Sales, and Project teams.  Ability to work within deadlines and manage multiple project BOQs simultaneously.

Qualification & Experience  Diploma / Graduate in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, or a related field.  Typically 4–7 years of relevant experience in BOQ preparation for interior fit-out and/or furniture projects.  Prior experience with an interior contracting, turnkey fit-out, furniture manufacturing, or workplace solutions company will be preferred.  Candidates with hands-on experience in both interior and furniture BOQs will be strongly preferred.
