Board Game Instructor – Onboard, Vellore

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and responsible Board Game Instructor to join our team at Onboard, Vellore. The role involves welcoming customers, explaining board game rules, assisting players during games, and creating a fun and engaging experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist customers with board game selection.
- Explain game rules and gameplay clearly to beginners and experienced players.
- Guide customers throughout the game and answer their questions.
- Set up and pack away board games properly after use.
- Ensure game components are complete and kept in good condition.
- Recommend suitable games based on the customer's age, group size, and interests.
- Engage with customers and maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere.
- Assist with birthdays, private events, tournaments, and group activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of the gaming area.




- Support the front-store team with basic café and customer-service activities when required.

Skills Required
- Good communication and people skills.
- Friendly, patient, and approachable personality.
- Interest in board games and willingness to learn different games.
- Ability to explain rules in a easy and easy-to-understand manner.
- Good teamwork and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work during weekends and holidays.

Preferred
- Prior experience in a board game café, gaming zone, café, hospitality, or customer service is an advantage.
- Knowledge of games such as Catan, Splendor, Azul, Wingspan, Ticket to Ride, 7 Wonders, Rummikub , etc. is a plus.
