Roles and Responsibilities :

- Collect blood samples from donors and patients, ensuring proper labeling and handling of specimens.

- Perform various tests on collected blood samples to screen for infectious diseases and ensure their suitability for transfusion.

- Maintain accurate records of all blood collections, testing results, and inventory management in the blood bank database.

- Assist medical professionals with procedures such as phlebotomy (blood draw) and cannulation (intravenous catheter insertion).

Job Requirements :

- 1-5 years of experience in a clinical setting or related field.

- DMLT certification or equivalent education/training program in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT).

- Solid knowledge of blood collection techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture methods.

- Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
