We are looking for a Senior Layer 1 Blockchain Developer to design, develop, and optimize blockchain core infrastructure, consensus mechanisms, and distributed systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain Layer 1 blockchain infrastructure and core protocol components.
- Develop and optimize blockchain consensus mechanisms, networking, and node architecture.
- Work on blockchain execution, transaction processing, and state management.
- Build scalable, secure, and high-performance distributed systems.
- Develop blockchain modules and runtime components using Rust or other suitable systems programming languages.
- Research and implement cryptographic protocols and blockchain security mechanisms.
- Optimize network performance, throughput, latency, and resource utilization.
- Collaborate with AI, backend, and protocol engineering teams.
- Conduct code reviews, debugging, performance testing, and technical documentation.
- Contribute to protocol research, architecture decisions, and long-term blockchain development.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- 4+ years of skilled experience in blockchain, distributed systems, or systems programming.
- Strong proficiency in Rust, C++, or Go (Rust preferred).
- Strong understanding of Layer 1 blockchain architecture and distributed ledger technology.




- Practical knowledge of consensus algorithms such as PoS, BFT, or related mechanisms.
- Experience with peer-to-peer networking and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of cryptography, transaction processing, and blockchain data structures.
- Experience with blockchain node development, runtime, or protocol-level engineering.
- Proficiency in Git, debugging, testing, and software development best practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing a Layer 1 blockchain from the ground up.
- Hands-on experience with Substrate, Cosmos SDK, CometBFT, or similar blockchain frameworks.
- Experience with Rust-based blockchain frameworks and runtime development.
- Knowledge of zero-knowledge proofs, cryptographic primitives, or post-quantum cryptography.
- Experience in blockchain scalability, sharding, or interoperability.
- Familiarity with smart contract execution engines and virtual machines.
- Contributions to open-source blockchain projects or protocol research.

Work Location & Relocation This is a strictly on-site position based in Kochi, Kerala. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Kochi and work from the office.
