We are looking for a BIW Fixture Design Engineer with 2–5 years of relevant experience in automotive fixture design. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in BIW fixture concept designing and be capable of developing fixture concepts as per customer and manufacturing requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop BIW fixture concepts for automotive body-in-white applications.
- Create detailed 3D fixture designs and 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Understand customer requirements, part geometry, GD&T;, and assembly processes.
- Design locating, clamping, pinning, and supporting arrangements.
- Perform feasibility studies and optimize fixture concepts for manufacturability.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, production, and tooling teams during fixture development.
- Review and incorporate design changes based on customer feedback.
- Ensure designs meet quality, safety, functionality, and manufacturing requirements.
- Participate in design reviews and resolve technical issues during project execution.
- Prepare and maintain design documentation, BOMs, and related engineering data.

Mandatory Skills & Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in BIW Fixture Design.




- Mandatory experience in BIW fixture concept designing.
- Strong knowledge of automotive BIW fixture design principles.
- Good understanding of GD&T;, 3D modeling, and 2D drafting.
- Experience with fixture components such as locators, clamps, pins, supports, and mechanisms.
- Ability to understand automotive BIW part geometry and assembly requirements.
- Hands-on experience with relevant CAD software such as CATIA V5 / NX.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with cross-functional teams.

Education Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred

- Experience working on automotive OEM or Tier-1 projects.
- Knowledge of BIW manufacturing and welding processes.
- Experience in fixture concept development from initial requirement through detailed design.
- Exposure to customer standards and automotive tooling practices.

Job Location Pune, Maharashtra

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
