Fertility Point Kenya is looking for an experienced Biomedical Engineer – IVF to support the reliable, safe, and efficient operation of critical equipment across our IVF laboratories and operating theatres.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in an IVF/Fertility Centre , with expertise in equipment maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, safety, and vendor coordination.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain, calibrate, troubleshoot, and ensure the safety of IVF laboratory and OT equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment.
- Coordinate with equipment vendors and service providers for repairs and technical support.
- Maintain equipment records, service schedules, calibration reports, and documentation.
- Support equipment installation, commissioning, validation, and performance checks.
- Identify technical issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize equipment downtime.
- Ensure compliance with equipment safety and relevant healthcare standards.
- Work closely with IVF laboratory, clinical, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an IVF/Fertility Centre is essential.
- Experience with IVF laboratory and OT equipment.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills.
- Valuable vendor and equipment management skills.
- Multispecialty hospital experience will be an added advantage.
- Willingness to work and relocate to Kenya , if required.
