A Building Information Modeling (BIM) Engineer designs, coordinates, and manages intelligent 3D digital models for construction and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- 3D Modeling: Build and maintain detailed digital building models using tools like.
- Clash Detection: Run software like Navisworks to find and fix design conflicts between architectural, structural, and MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) systems before site work begins.
- Multi-Discipline Coordination: Combine various stakeholder models into a single federated model for team collaboration.
- Standards Compliance: Follow the BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and apply standards like ISO 19650.
- Data & Documentation: Extract quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and construction drawings directly from the model data.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Architecture,
or related fields.
- Experience: Total Minimum 10 Years for Graduates & 12 years of Diploma in relevant Field.
BIM Experience in Metro/Railway/Suburban/Building Project implementation is Preferable)
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and Common Data Environments (CDE) like Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Soft Skills: Solid communication, problem-solving, and team coordination capabilities.
