We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Billing Operator to manage billing, invoicing, payment entries, and day-to-day transaction records. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with billing software and handling customers and sales teams professionally. Key Responsibilities
- Generate accurate invoices and bills for customer purchases.
- Process sales transactions and maintain billing records.
- Handle cash, card, UPI, and other payment entries.
- Verify product details, quantities, prices, discounts, and taxes before billing.
- Maintain daily sales and billing reports.
- Coordinate with the sales and accounts teams for billing-related queries.
- Handle customer billing queries and provide appropriate assistance.
- Manage returns, exchanges, credit notes, and related documentation.
- Ensure proper filing and maintenance of invoices and transaction records.
- Perform daily cash and billing reconciliation. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in billing, invoicing, or a similar role.
- Experience in a retail, hardware, plywood, furniture, or building-material business will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of billing software and MS Excel.
- Good numerical and record-keeping skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
