Role Description The Billing Engineer at VVIP Group will oversee and manage project billing activities, ensuring accurate measurement, documentation, and certification of work done on construction and infrastructure projects. This is a full time, on-site role based in Rishikesh, working closely with project managers, site engineers, and accounts teams to prepare bills of quantities, interim and final bills, and reconciliation statements. The role includes verifying contractor bills against drawings and site progress, coordinating with vendors for clarifications, and maintaining up-to-date records of all billing-related documents.





The Billing

Engineer will also assist in cost control by tracking budgets versus actuals and flagging variances, supporting timely payments and smooth project execution. Regular reporting, adherence to organizational policies, and collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders are key parts of the day-to-day work.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of construction billing processes, including preparation of measurement sheets, BOQs, RA bills, and final bills.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and construction contracts.
- Experience with MS Excel and relevant billing or ERP software for data entry, analysis, and report generation.
- Solid understanding of civil engineering concepts, cost estimation, and project budgeting.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and documentation skills.
- Effective communication and coordination abilities for working with site teams, vendors, and finance departments.
- Ability to work on-site full time in Rishikesh, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field; prior experience as a Billing Engineer or in quantity surveying is preferred.
