About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Billing Engineer responsible for preparing, checking, and managing project billing, quantity measurements, client bills, contractor bills, and related documentation. The role requires strong knowledge of construction measurements, BOQ, rate analysis, and coordination with project and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare client bills, contractor bills, RA bills, and final bills as per project requirements.
- Take and verify site measurements for civil, finishing, and other applicable works.
- Prepare Measurement Sheets (MS) and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
- Check quantities executed at site against approved drawings and BOQ.
- Prepare rate analysis for additional, extra, and deviation items.
- Verify contractor/subcontractor bills and supporting documents.
- Track work progress and billing status on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with the Site Engineer, Project Manager, Purchase, Accounts, and Contractors for billing-related requirements.
- Identify and report discrepancies in quantities, rates, measurements, and bills.
- Maintain proper records of work orders, BOQs, measurements, bills, approvals, and deductions.
- Assist in preparation of variation statements, reconciliation statements, and final accounts.




- Ensure billing is prepared and submitted within the defined timelines.
- Support project cost monitoring and maintain accurate billing data.
- Follow company procedures for documentation, approvals, and bill processing.

Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of construction billing and quantity surveying.
- Good understanding of BOQ, measurements, rate analysis, and billing procedures.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and reading construction drawings.
- Understanding of civil construction materials and work items.
- Good numerical and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Positive coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work with site teams and contractors.

Qualification Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in construction, real estate, contracting, infrastructure, or building projects will be preferred.
