Bench Sales Recruiter – US Staffing

Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Bench Sales Recruiter to market and place IT consultants who are currently on the bench with suitable contract opportunities in the US staffing market. The candidate will be responsible for consultant marketing, vendor relationship management, requirement sourcing, profile submissions, rate negotiation, interview coordination, and successful placements.

Key Responsibilities

- Market and promote bench consultants to US clients, Tier-1 vendors, implementation partners, and staffing firms.
- Source suitable job requirements through Dice, LinkedIn, Indeed, Monster, CareerBuilder, vendor portals, and recruiter networks.
- Analyze job requirements and match them with consultants based on skills, experience, location, availability, and work authorization.
- Submit qualified consultant profiles to relevant requirements and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with US recruiters, vendors, prime vendors, implementation partners, and clients.
- Negotiate billing rates, contract terms, and other placement-related requirements.
- Coordinate interviews between consultants and vendors/clients and follow up for feedback.
- Maintain and regularly update consultant hotlists, resumes, availability, skills, and work authorization details.
- Conduct email marketing and broadcast consultant profiles to relevant vendor networks.
- Track daily submissions, interviews, offers, placements, and closures.
- Maintain accurate records in ATS/CRM systems and prepare daily/weekly activity reports.




- Generate new vendor contacts and expand the company's vendor network.
- Stay updated on US staffing trends, technologies, contract rates, and market demand.
- Work closely with recruiters, account managers, and management to achieve weekly and monthly placement targets.
- Ensure all consultant and work-authorization information is represented accurately and professionally.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–4 years of experience in US IT Staffing / Bench Sales preferred.
- Strong understanding of the US staffing and recruitment lifecycle.
- Knowledge of work authorizations such as H1B, OPT, CPT, H4 EAD, GC, EAD, and US Citizen.
- Good understanding of C2C, W2, 1099, and C2H hiring models.
- Hands-on experience with job portals and vendor management platforms.
- Strong communication, negotiation, networking, and relationship-building skills.
- Good knowledge of IT technologies such as Java, .NET, Python, DevOps, Cloud, Data Engineering, QA, Salesforce, SAP, etc.
- Strong follow-up, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to work independently in a target-driven workplace.
- Existing vendor/recruiter network will be an added advantage.
