- Machine Operation: Setup, run, and monitor batch coding equipment (such as inkjet, laser, or thermal transfer coders) during packaging lines.
- Data Verification: Input and verify variable data (batch codes, MRP, manufacturing and expiry dates, 2D barcodes) before starting production runs.
- Quality Checks: Perform regular print-clarity, smudge-resistance, and adhesion tests on cartons, labels, foils, or bottles.
- Line Clearance: Conduct proper line clearance and cleaning procedures between different product batches to avoid mix-ups or cross-contamination.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate Batch Production Records (BPR), equipment logbooks, and startup/shutdown checklists in compliance with data integrity guidelines.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve minor technical errors with the coding machine and report major mechanical faults to the maintenance team.
