Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Base24 UPF role. The role involves developing, configuring, and maintaining Base24 UPF applications used for electronic payment processing. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business and technical requirements, designing and implementing enhancements, troubleshooting issues in production and test environments, and ensuring high availability and performance of payment systems.

The position also requires working closely with cross-functional teams, participating in code reviews, preparing technical documentation, and supporting deployment and integration activities. The role may include on-call support for critical incidents and adherence to security, compliance, and quality standards.

Qualifications

- Solid expertise in Base24 UPF or similar electronic payment processing platforms, including configuration, customization, and production support.
- Proficiency in relevant programming and scripting languages (such as COBOL, TAL, C, or other payment-system-related technologies) and familiarity with batch and real-time transaction processing.
- Experience with databases and SQL, as well as understanding of system performance optimization, monitoring, and troubleshooting in high-availability environments.
- Knowledge of payment industry standards, card transaction flows, switching, authorization, and settlement processes,



along with basic understanding of security and compliance requirements.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements, prepare technical specifications, and create clear documentation for configurations, changes, and releases.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, on-site environment in Hyderabad.
- Valuable communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders, explain technical concepts, and support testing and rollout activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; prior experience in financial services or payments domain is an advantage.
