Role Description The Base24 EPS Developer will work on designing, developing, and maintaining Base24 EPS applications and related payment processing solutions for Verinite’s financial and fintech clients.

Responsibilities include analyzing requirements, configuring and customizing Base24 EPS modules, integrating payment systems, and troubleshooting production issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. The developer will participate in code reviews, performance tuning, and deployment activities while ensuring compliance, security, and industry best practices in the cards and payments domain. The role also involves creating technical documentation, supporting testing efforts,



and contributing to continuous improvement of development processes.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City.

Qualifications

- Strong experience in Base24 EPS development, configuration, and support within cards and payments environments.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and technologies commonly used with Base24 (e.g., C, TAL, TACL, COBOL, or similar), as well as scripting for automation.
- Solid understanding of card transaction processing, ISO 8583 messaging, switching, authorization, settlement, and related payment workflows.
- Experience working on HP NonStop / Tandem or similar transaction processing platforms, including performance tuning and monitoring.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, CI/CD practices, and working in Agile or hybrid delivery models.
- Ability to analyze complex technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement reliable, secure fixes in production environments.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with QA, infrastructure, and client stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in payment systems development.
- Prior experience in financial services, card issuing/acquiring, or payment processing organizations is highly beneficial.
- Willingness to work in office in Pune City and support critical systems, including occasional extended or off-hour support
