Job Title: Barista

Location: Everhome Cafe, Bandra

Everhome Cafe in Bandra is seeking a dedicated and experienced Barista to join our dynamic team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional coffee experiences to our valued customers while leading and supporting our team of baristas.

Responsibilities

Craft high-quality espresso-based beverages, pour-over coffees, teas, and other specialty drinks according to Everhome Cafe's standards.

Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and recommending menu items based on customer preferences.

Demonstrate expertise in operating and maintaining espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee equipment & other primary cafe equipment.

Train and mentor junior baristas in the art of coffee preparation, customer service, and cafe operations. Doing weekly Audits & following of regular SOPs for the brand.

Monitor inventory levels and communicate with management & purchase team to ensure an adequate supply of all raw materials is there at the cafe during all operational days.

Uphold cleanliness and organization standards in the cafe, including the coffee preparation area, equipment, and dining areas & personal presentation + grooming of the entire floor team.

Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system accurately + address finance queries to the management etc.





Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of customers and team members.

Maintain a positive and qualified attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a barista in a specialty coffee shop or cafe, with a minimum of 1 year experience.

knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, espresso extraction, and latte art.

customer service skills with the ability to engage and connect with customers.

Ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.

Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
