Role Description This is a full time, on-site Barista role based in Chennai. The Barista prepares and serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee and specialty drinks, following established recipes and quality standards. The role includes operating coffee equipment, handling food preparation for light snacks, and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic service area in line with company policies.

The Barista welcomes guests, takes orders, processes payments, and provides timely,



courteous customer service to enhance the overall café experience. Day-to-day responsibilities also involve restocking supplies, supporting team members during busy periods, and adhering to health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Barista skills, including beverage preparation, coffee equipment handling, and basic food preparation.
- Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills to engage guests, handle queries, and manage busy service periods professionally.
- Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for clear interaction with customers, team members, and supervisors.
- Prior experience in a café, quick service restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety, hygiene practices, and basic health and safety standards is beneficial.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, work flexible shifts, and manage fast-paced environments is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred; vocational training in hospitality or food & beverage service is an advantage.
