We’re looking for a passionate and responsible Barista who enjoys specialty coffee, understands café operations, and takes pride in delivering consistently great coffee and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare espresso-based beverages, pour-overs, cold coffee and signature drinks.
- Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders and brewing equipment.
- Dial in coffee and maintain consistency in extraction and recipes.
- Follow Baciami’s beverage recipes, presentation and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee bar and equipment.
- Handle opening and closing bar duties.
- Manage coffee inventory and inform the manager about stock requirements.
- Interact with customers and explain coffee, beans and brewing methods when required.
- Ensure every beverage is served with consistent quality and presentation.
- Support the team during busy hours and maintain smooth café operations.
- Follow FIFO,
wastage-control and portion-control practices.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of barista experience preferred.
- Specialty coffee experience is an advantage.
- Good understanding of espresso extraction and milk steaming.
- Basic knowledge of pour-over brewing is preferred.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during busy hours.
- Clean, disciplined and detail-oriented approach.
- Willingness to learn and improve coffee knowledge.
