We are hiring experienced professionals for the role of Bank Reconciliation Specialist at our Bangalore Indira Nagar location.

Role: Bank Reconciliation Specialist

Function: Investor Reporting /Mortgage Servicing Finance Operations / Cash Management

Experience Required: 4+ years

Work Location: Indira Nagar, Bangalore

Work Mode: 5 days from office per week

We are looking for an experienced Bank Reconciliation Specialist with strong hands-on experience in end-to-end bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation, exception management, and variance resolution.

The ideal candidate should have experience handling high-volume transactional accounts and independently researching and resolving reconciliation differences. Experience in the Mortgage Servicing domain is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for clearing, custodial, and cash-related accounts.
- Reconcile bank transactions with servicing systems, general ledger, and subledger records.
- Research and resolve reconciling items, aged exceptions, and variances.
- Investigate missing transactions, duplicate postings, timing differences, and unapplied cash.
- Perform root cause analysis and resolve reconciliation discrepancies independently.




- Maintain reconciliation reports and supporting documentation.
- Support month-end reconciliation and closing activities.
- Coordinate with Operations, Cash Management, Accounting, Servicing, and Treasury teams.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements.

Required Skills

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Bank Reconciliation experience.
- Robust experience in high-volume transaction reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience investigating and resolving reconciliation differences.
- Good understanding of cash balancing and exception management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including:

- VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP

- Pivot Tables

- SUMIFS

- Advanced formulas
- Large data-set analysis

Preferred Mortgage Experience Candidates with hands-on experience in any of the following will be preferred:
- Mortgage
- Principal & Interest (P&I;) Accounts
- Tax & Insurance (T&I;) Accounts
- Clearing Accounts
- Custodial Accounts
- Investor Custodial Accounts
- Mortgage platforms such as MSP
