Description:

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend applications using Python and AWS Cloud.

- Build and enhance ETL connectors for integrating data between internal and external systems.

- Develop secure, scalable, and high-performance REST APIs and microservices.

- Analyze existing applications and implement enhancements to improve reliability, maintainability, and performance.

- Design and optimize database solutions using PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL).

- Develop serverless solutions using AWS services.

- Create and maintain event-driven integrations using AWS EventBridge.

- Develop and support data processing and file-based workflows utilizing Amazon S3.

- Monitor application health, performance, and logs using AWS CloudWatch.

- Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution of incidents.

- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and other engineering teams to understand requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.

- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines to automate build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

- Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Strong hands-on experience in Python backend development.

- Experience developing APIs using FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.

- Strong SQL and database development experience with:

- PostgreSQL

- Microsoft SQL Server (T-SQL)

- Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices.

- Hands-on experience with AWS services:

- AWS Lambda





- API Gateway

- Amazon S3

- Amazon EventBridge

- CloudWatch

- Experience developing and supporting ETL connectors and data integration solutions.

- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and backend development best practices.

- Experience with Git and source control management.

- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.

- Experience with automated testing frameworks and API testing.

- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.

- Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.

- Exposure to monitoring and observability best practices.
