Job Title: Backend Developer Intern

Employment Type: 3 months internship unpaid

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer Intern with strong expertise in Python and Django to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in RESTful services, real-time communication protocols, and database management.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain backend services using Python and Django
- Build and optimize REST APIs using Django REST Framework (DRF)
- Implement real-time features using WebSockets
- Integrate IoT communication using MQTT protocol
- Design and manage databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Write clean, reusable, and scalable code
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate APIs
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize application performance
- Maintain version control using Git and GitHub
- Perform API testing using Postman
- Deploy and manage applications on Linux (Ubuntu) environments

Required SkillsProgramming

- Strong proficiency in Python
- Experience with Django Framework




- Solid understanding of Django REST Framework (DRF)

Real-Time & Communication

- Experience with WebSocket implementation
- Hands-on experience with MQTT protocol

Databases

- Experience with:
- MySQL
- PostgreSQL
- MongoDB
- Database design and optimization skills

Tools & Environment

- Linux (Ubuntu) environment handling
- Git & GitHub for version control
- Postman for API testing

Soft Skills
