Role & responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end design and development of scalable backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.

- Architect distributed, scalable, fault-tolerant, and high-performance systems.

- Design and develop REST/GraphQL APIs and support frontend integrations.

- Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and RBAC.

- Build event-driven architectures using Kafka, SQS, or RabbitMQ.

- Work with SQL/NoSQL databases, caching, data modeling, and consistency patterns.

- Drive cloud and DevOps practices using AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, Jenkins/GitHub Actions.

- Perform architecture reviews, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

- Lead technical initiatives, establish engineering best practices, and mentor backend engineers.

- Collaborate with Product, Frontend, Security, and Platform teams to deliver robust technical solutions.

Preferred candidate profile





- Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Distributed Systems.

- Proven experience designing scalable REST/GraphQL APIs and high-traffic backend applications.

- Strong understanding of concurrency, multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning.

- Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD.

- Hands-on experience with Kafka/event-driven architecture and messaging systems.

- Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, data modeling, caching, and resilience patterns.

- Experience with OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, RBAC, and backend security.

- Experience with JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, integration testing, and contract testing.

- Robust technical leadership, architecture, mentoring, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
