JD - Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Administrator / Engineer

Manage and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments.

Create and configure Host Pools, Application Groups, and Workspaces.

Perform monthly Windows patching and application updates.

Monitor AVD health, performance, and user sessions daily.

Use Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL queries for monitoring and troubleshooting.

Troubleshoot AVD launch, performance, black screen, login, and disconnection issues.

Configure and support FSLogix Profile Containers.

Provide remote support to end users and resolve technical issues.

Coordinate with users, application teams, and other infrastructure teams.





Provide regular customer updates and incident status reports.

Work with Microsoft Support on escalated incidents and support tickets.

Required Skills knowledge of Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architecture.

Hands-on experience or knowledge with Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, and Entra ID.

Knowledge on Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL.

Knowledge of Windows 11 Multi-session environments and troubleshooting skills.

Basic Knowledge on Windows active directory , Group policies

Basic understanding of Azure pricing and cost optimization.

Basic PowerShell scripting and automation knowledge.

- Solid troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills.
