Role: Azure Integration Developer

Duration: 6 Months

Location: 100% Remote

Shift: 6 AM to 3 PM IST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and build integrations on Azure Integration Services Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions and Data Factory.
- Deliver banking and payments integrations: direct debit, refunds, credit card, BPAY and payment gateway reconciliation with Australian banking partners.
- Deliver government and third-party integrations: Centrelink/Services Australia concession verification (batch and real-time), Centrepay, Australia Post BillPay, SOAP-based land information services, electronic planning and referrals, and address validation.
- Deliver asset and spatial integrations: Maximo work orders, service requests, assets and asset specifications; GIS parcel and property data; meter exchange data; and forward-compatibility for ESRI.
- Deliver operational data flows: meter reading file import and export, trade waste data, print house invoice generation, EDMS document storage, financial system integration and GL code mapping, and council payment files.
- Establish integration patterns, canonical message formats (JSON/XML), error handling, retry, dead-lettering and idempotency standards for the platform.
- Build monitoring, alerting and reconciliation reporting so failures surface before the business notices them.




- Implement security controls managed identities, Key Vault, private endpoints, and compliance with Australian government cloud security guidance.
- Document interface specifications and support SIT, performance testing and cutover data flows.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- 7+ years integration development, with 3+ years hands-on Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Functions).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or Azure Solutions Architect.
- Solid C#/.NET, REST and SOAP web services, XML/JSON transformation, and batch or file-based integration (CSV, fixed-width, SFTP).
- Experience integrating Salesforce via REST, Bulk and Platform Events, and with financial or billing systems.
- Solid grounding in integration error handling, reconciliation and observability not just happy-path delivery.
- CI/CD for Azure (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions) and ARM/Bicep or Terraform.
- Four-hour daily overlap with Australian Eastern time.

DESIRABLE

- Utility billing or meter data integration experience.
- Maximo, land information services or GIS/ESRI integration experience.
- Azure Data Factory for data migration support.
