JD for FinOps / Azure Architect

General Requirements

Should have a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

15+ or more years of experience and strong background in Information Technology.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Experienced in Agile development practices using Scrum, Kanban, Scaled Agile

Azure Experience

Hands-on experience in Azure cloud computing platforms is crucial.

Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate

Experience in Design cloud Infrastructure, virtual private cloud, virtual private network, database services, auto scaling & computing resources to meet customers’ requirements.

Experienced in Enterprise Cloud Architecture & ability to deliver Systems / Network / Infrastructure Diagrams, reference implementations, best practices & roadmaps.

Expertise and proficiency in network & security implementations best practices using cloud native offerings to include Azure Application Gateways, Network Security groups, Azure Key Vault, or AWS equivalent.

Deep Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Azure AKS,



AWS EKS).

FinOps Experience

Vast Knowledge of cost optimization techniques, cost management, and financial analysis. Familiarity with software development and programming languages, such as Phyton.

Have led cost optimization programs for clients & helped save costs

Experience with 3rd Party Cost Optimization tools

Analyze cloud usage and spending to find cost-saving opportunities

Optimize cloud infrastructure, both in terms of performance and cost

Work closely with development teams to ensure applications are cost-effective

Identify unused or underused resources and make recommendations for more efficient usage

Implement and maintain cost monitoring tools and processes to track spending and usage

Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to develop budgets and purchase plans

Create clear and concise reports on cost optimization progress for management

Stay up-to-date on the latest industry trends, technology, and cost-saving strategies

Train team members on best practices for cost-effective cloud usage

Continuously improve and adjust cost optimization strategies as technology and business needs evolve
