About the Role
D.S. Research Centre is looking for an experienced and committed Ayurvedacharya to join our Mumbai centre in Andheri East.
The role involves clinical consultation, patient and caregiver counselling, treatment documentation, follow-up consultations and participation in the Centre's educational and research activities.
The selected candidate will work closely with the Centre's clinical and research teams and will have opportunities to contribute to patient education, clinical documentation, research initiatives and professional healthcare programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct patient consultations and understand individual health concerns and treatment history.
- Counsel patients and their attendants and provide clear guidance regarding the recommended care plan.
- Prepare prescriptions and maintain accurate clinical records.
- Conduct follow-up consultations and provide guidance to patients over the phone when required.
- Review relevant patient reports and prepare appropriate clinical documentation.
- Prepare patient reports and periodic clinical summaries.
- Coordinate with the Centre's clinical and research teams as required.
- Participate in research activities, clinical documentation and knowledge-development initiatives.
- Assist in developing educational content, presentations and PPTs for patients, healthcare professionals and internal training.
- Participate in health check-up camps, awareness programmes, seminars and other healthcare events.
- Deliver lectures and presentations on relevant Ayurveda and healthcare topics.
- Contribute to patient education and awareness initiatives.
- Maintain professional, ethical and compassionate communication with patients and their families.
- Support continuous improvement of clinical processes and patient-care practices.
What We Are Looking For
- BAMS + MD in Ayurveda – mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience.
- Solid patient counselling and communication skills.
- Fluency in English, Hindi and Marathi.
- Good clinical documentation and report-writing skills.
- Comfortable with telephone/online patient consultations.
- Ability to prepare professional presentations and educational material.
- Interest or experience in research, academic activities or healthcare education will be an advantage.
- A patient-centric, responsible and professional approach.
Pay: ₹65,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
